國際揚(yáng)聲器協(xié)會（ALMA International）成立于1961年，原名美國揚(yáng)聲器制造協(xié)會（American Loudspeaker Manufacturers Association，ALMA），與2001年更名為International Loudspeaker AssociationSM以反映其會員在創(chuàng)新和地域多元化方面的變化。ALMA為該行業(yè)設(shè)定技術(shù)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，并與AES、EIA 和 IEC這些國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化組織共同協(xié)調(diào)國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

ALMA – the International Loudspeaker Association, is a not-for-profit trade association, the only international trade association dedicated to improving the design and manufacture of loudspeakers.
Our membership is made up of loudspeaker designers and manufacturers, suppliers of components, test and measurement equipment and other products, consultants and other service providers to the industry. Individuals, academic institutions and full-time students participating in this field are also eligible to join. Our membership is global, with membership from North, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
The organization was originally founded in 1961 as the American Loudspeaker Manufacturers Association (ALMA), and in 2001 changed its name to ALMA, the International Loudspeaker AssociationSM to reflect its new, geographically diverse membership base.
