Low-cost differential-pressure transducer.
In addition to the differential pressure, the PS 18 differential-pressure transducer also records positive and negative overpressure. The central unit is a pressure cell with a diaphragm spring made of beryllium bronze which, in accordance with the pressure difference, is displaced between two chambers. The displacement is measured, without making contact, via an inductive displacement recorder. The device does not contain any components that can rub against each other or parts subject to mechanical wear. This simple but accurate measuring transducer is particularly suitable for applications in air-conditioning and ventilation technology.
