Job Description: Plans R&D innovation direction for Intel Software and Services Group (SSG) in PRC, and oversees the development activities of innovation project and revitalize the risk taking exploration spirit. Establish employee technical growth programs, recruit and retain top talents, bring up the technical level of SSG PRC staff by generating valuable IPs, increase the number of high quality patents and publications, enhance collaborations with the academic community and generate high ROI value for Intel from the engagement. Help define directions in the service arena. Work with several SSG division technical leads to design innovation projects gluing different parts. Be a spokesperson for Intel technology leadership in academic and trade conferences.
 
Qualifications
You should possess a Ph.D. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 20+ years of advanced technology Development or Research experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Established Researcher in computer architecture and software system with publications in top journals
- Practical experience in getting research into products
- Senior manager experience in managing research and development team in world class Institute
- Working experience in global R&D strategy setting
- Capability to work with teams in different geographical locations
- Excellent skills to work across organization boundary to create new projects
- Strong business acumen to guide the innovation projects
- Excellent English and Chinese communication skills
- Experience in generating IPs as shown in Patents
